After twenty-five years as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, practicing over thirteen different methodologies, I found Spring Forest Qigong to be the most effective and holistic way to heal the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.
I met Master Chunyi Lin, the founder of Spring Forest Qigong, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, about a dozen years ago. Two dear friends invited me to his Level 1 and 2 courses. Our group of about eighty people, from various backgrounds and ages, sought healing. Having spent twelve years in a Siddha Yoga Ashram with a daily meditation practice, I was attuned to spiritual energy. When Master Lin entered, I immediately sensed his extraordinary presence. A warmth filled my belly—a sign of great spiritual power. He appeared as an ordinary man, but his voice was lighthearted and kind.
As he led us through the movements of Spring Forest Qigong, I felt Qi—the powerful life force—flow through me in waves. The energy was unmistakable, bringing a deep sense of well-being. I knew then that Master Lin was a true master of an ancient healing tradition, and this practice was authentic.
Now, every morning, I practice qigong’s graceful movements and meditate. This fills me with immense bliss, vitality, and inner peace that lasts throughout the day and serves as the foundation for my work as a healer.
My healing method integrates psychology, meditation, and qigong to help clients overcome emotional blockages through what I call the Emotional Blockages Clearing (EBC) method. Emotional and physical health are deeply connected. In my training with Spring Forest Qigong, I have found that strengthening one’s Qi empowers individuals to face emotionally charged events—whether a major life transition or a long-held pattern of depression, anxiety, or resentment. As the Qi strengthens, negative emotions dissolve, and external events lose their hold on us.
Through qigong and meditation, I’ve learned that emotional blockages lie at the heart of many struggles. Releasing them brings hope, strength, love, success, well-being, and happiness. Inspired by this, I wrote When Emotions Come, Let Them Go to provide simple, user-friendly techniques to remove emotional blocks and unlock a fulfilled, happy life.
The human heart is both delicate and strong. By accessing your inner healing power, you can uncover its tremendous resilience and live in harmony with the universe.
